Treatment for diabetes requires keeping close watch of our blood glucose levels (and keeping them at a goal set by our doctor) with a mixture of medicines, exercise and diet. By paying close attention to what that once you eat, you'll minimize or avoid the "seesaw effect" of quick changes of blood glucose levels, which may require quick changes in medication dosages, especially insulin.
